You can pair your iPhone to the Echo and talk and text just like if you were wearing a Bluetooth headset. You can then say ‘Alexa, connect Bluetooth speaker’ and can also tell her to disconnect too. No, only Google home can do that. shawnmcdonaldmusic.com and Google services are currently not compatible due to them being competitors.

It is very easy. First make sure to plug the echo to the power supply and then download the alexa app on appstore or playstore..you have to have wifi connection and when you are in the app go to settings and clic on "set up a new device" then just follow the instructions and you'll be all set up. Hope this helps

Did you down load the echo app on your phone. Also you need the password for the wifi. That's all I can suggest. Google trouble shooting if you have already done these two steps. I am not good at electronics and it was a bit of a trial and error good luck.
